Standard Coil Antenna and Ferrite Core Antenna RF Plasma Cathodes are Tested
Two different RF plasma cathodes have been designed, built and tested. The first cathode has a standard coil antenna, whereas the second cathode has a specially designed ferrite core antenna. The pictures below show the coil antenna RF plasma cathode and ferrite core antenna RF plasma cathode before and during operation.
