New Coaxial-Heater Hollow Cathode is Completed
A new coaxial-heater hollow cathode is built. This new cathode employs a keeper tube made of molybdenum. The insert material is LaB6 with an inner diameter of 2mm, outer diameter of 4mm and length of 10mm. This latest cathode employs a specially designed heat shield that is made of two layers of molybdenum foil.
